In my 30+ years of off-road experiences, The Arizona Strip ranks very high on places that I recommend you visit. As one of the most remote places in the contiguous United States, this large area has a lot to offer. From high elevation forests to many Grand Canyon overlooks, the Arizona Strip is hard to beat for a recreational off-highway adventure. If you’ve been wanting to go on a trip where you can “get away from it all”, this is it. No cell phone service, or even a lightbulb for many many miles. Careful planning, carrying extra fuel and food, is a must. However, booking at least one night stay at the Bar 10 Ranch is an experience that you won’t forget. With unqiue yet comfortable accomodations in their coverd wagons, delicious dinners, hearty breakfasts and even a sack lunch for the day; you can’t beat working this into your trip. They also have fuel available for sale for guests.. a must have if you’re 100 miles from town in a UTV!
